Cerro Castillo National Reserve is located just 94 km from Coyhaique, along the Carretera Austral. It is a protected wilderness area, home to one of the largest populations of Huemules, an endangered type of deer.
One of the main attractions in this place is the massif that gave the park its name, with an altitude of 2318 meters and a wonderful lagoon at its feet, fed by glacial waters and rain. Its intense blue color does not go unnoticed.
